My wife and I have traveled to many countries around the world. We have used the services of several different car rental companies with very mixed results. From our very first contact with Kompas Rent a Car, we received friendly, attentive, personalized service. Niksa and his staff have gone above and beyond what I would ever expect from a car rental agency. They have even helped me secure hotel accommodations during the very busy tourist season. Kompas is a small company that provides great service at very reasonable prices. I wish I could find more rental companies like theirs in other parts of the world.

My name is Mark Spencer! In age of 45 I have rented a car at Kompas. That was year 1979. And it was different time than it is today about few things about traveling also for a car rentals. I made a booking over Kenwel and picked the car over Kompas car rentals in Dubrovnik. I rembember it was Opel Automatic in brilliant condition. Last year in age of 71, now merried, I decided to visit Dubrovnik again and croatian lovely coast. Like I wrote before everything has changed but Dubrovnik is standing beautifull as it was and same like Kompas car rental. I was suprised when I saw on internet Kompas rent a car site. After many Years it is hard to find long standing company like Kompas which holds it s quality service untill today. Also they didn’t charge me for overage driver fee. I can suggest it to everybody who would like to travel happy and stress-free to use Kompas Rent a Car.

Hi there! I have seen on this site a testimonials and I decided to send one of mine. To be honest I received a basic service on the counter at the airport. The car was brand new, cleaned, full of petrol and everything in the way it has to be. Also I was very mad when the representative charged me 39 €UR cross border fee. But, on the end it turns to be one of the best car rental companies when I have had an accident in Montenegro at 2 a.m. I tried to phone the 24 brake down assistance and they replaced the vehicle in one hour!! I am from Belgium and I have rented a car at many European and US states but they are really no.1 for me. Just keep doing a good job. Regards, Jenna

I travelled from Venice to Croatia in April 2008 with my wife and 2 young children. We had a lot of difficulty finding the best way to get there. This seems to be a common problem, especially outside the peak summer season when there aren't many ferries. We found the best solution was to take a train to Trieste (2 hours) and a bus (2.5 hours)through Slovenia to Rijeka where we arranged to be met with a rental car at the bus station. It can be hard to book a rental car in Croatia over the internet if you want to be met at a specific place, if you want to drop the car off at a different place from the pick up or if you want to hire in Italy and drive to Croatia. The rental car company we dealt with was absolutely incredible with the lengths they went to to help us out - even giving us a free lift to the airport in Dubrovnik 2 days after we had finished with the car. We had a brand new car, brand new child carseat and the cost quoted was exactly what we paid down to the last kuna - something I didn't find renting from Budget and Avis in other countries on the trip - and we arranged it all from New Zealand. We are going back this year and they have been even more helpful with our arrangements. I have rented well over 100 rental cars before in different countries and I have never received service as good as the service I got from this company.
